EMS Training

By using electric impulses, Electric Muscle Stimulation causes muscle contractions which targets the whole body or focuses on specific areas depending on your goals.

EMS stimulates up to 98% of the entire muscle whereas a traditional workout may only use 50%. One 20 minute workout is equivalent to 90 minutes at the gym with over 150 times more muscle contraction than your average workout.

By sending electric impulses directly to these motoric nerves, even the weakly connected muscles are activated making EMS a great option for rehabilitation purposes as well.

Can I eat just before the training?

We recommend eating 2-3 hours prior to training.
If you need to eat for energy before your workout, we recommend  a light protein shake, broth or a spoonful of B. Powered Honey.

What should I bring with me and what should I wear?

We will provide you with special under-layers to be worn under the suit. You can wear sneakers, grip socks or go bare feet. Don't forget a water bottle and your positive energy!

How often should I do EMS?

EMS training should replace one of your conventional sport or exercise sessions each week but you can do up to 2 sessions per week.

In order to support the regeneration of muscles, we impose a mandatory 48 hours of rest between your sessions.

How quickly will I see results?

You will look and feel tighter. Booty sitting a little higher. Arm and legs defined.

But like any form of training, EMS should be done regularly to maintain results. Changes in the way your clothes fit and strength can usually be felt after four sessions with proper nutrition.

Scientific studies have shown the following results over a 12-week period using EMS training program: 9% body fat loss, 30% increase in strength, 89% of people felt stronger and fitter.

BONUS! EMS training helps treat cellulite as a result of the massaging effect of the impulses of skin tissue.

Can anyone do EMS training?

Unfortunately not.

EMS training is suitable for most individuals unless you’re pregnant or have a pacemaker.

Similarly to other forms of training, there are a few other medical conditions for which we recommend consulting your physician. These will be discussed prior to your first session.

Although EMS training cannot be performed during pregnancy, it has been proven to be an effective way to help with the treatment of diastasis recti and recovery of post-natal abdominal strength.

You may start EMS training at 15 years old, but you must be accompanied by an adult until you’re 18.

Can EMS training be applied for rehabilitation and injury recovery?

EMS training is an ideal solution during rehabilitation, since you are not using any heavy weights and not adding extra pressure on the joints.

What should I expect after the training? Will I be sore?

You can expect a rush of happiness thanks to the release of endorphins. You may experience muscle fatigue immediately after the session, but muscle soreness will kick in after 12-24 hours. However, delayed onset muscle soreness may peak at around 48 hours post workout. Make sure you stay well hydrated as it helps with muscle recovery!

Is there a cancelation policy?

We ask that you cancel your session 12 hours in advance to avoid losing 1 session. You can simply cancel by email, or by calling us.

Can I be late?

Our sessions happen within 30 minute time slots. To really enjoy the full Suited experience, anything over 5 minutes will result in a lost session (arrive on time!).  If you arrive within the first 5 minutes of your time slot, we will need to cut your session short. But remember, it is your workout and your gift of wellness so make time for yourself!
