Bling with Benefits!
Do you know that the ear is believed to be a microsystem of the entire body? We do!
That’s why we’re pleased to offer Auriculotherapy, the process of stimulating key points on the ear’s microsystem. Auriculotherapy effectively treats a variety of health and wellness conditions, whether through Acupuncture Microneedles or Ear Seeds.
EAR SEEDS
Ear Seeds are tiny beads that resemble seeds (we’ve even got pretty Swarovski crystal ones!). Held in place on the surface of the ear by adhesive tape, they’re non-invasive and work by exerting a gentle constant pressure on specific points. The pressure can be amplified, as needed, by gently massaging the seeds several times a day. They are safe to use on everyone, even children.
Auriculotherapy: Ear Seeding
Ear seeding is priced per condition with a maximum of 1 condition per session.

FAQ
What is Auriculotherapy?
Auriculotherapy is the stimulation of specific points on the ear, which is believed to be a microsystem of the entire body. There are points on the ear for everything from emotional to physical well-being.
How does it work?
Auriculotherapy is administered by a licensed acupuncturist. Ear Seeds or Acupuncture Needles are strategically placed over specific points on the ear. Ear Seeds are non-invasive and held in place by adhesive tape whereas Acupuncture Microneedles will puncture the skin. Both methods are safe and effective when done properly.
Will it hurt?
Ear Seeds are held in place by adhesive tape and do not hurt to administer. Ear Microneedles are tiny and puncture the ear. This is done very quickly to minimize discomfort and feels like a tiny pin prick.
Sometimes, when a point is “active” the Ear Seed or Microneedle will make the ear feel sore, tender and sensitive to touch. This is normal as the specific condition is being treated. If discomfort persists you can remove the seeds and have them reapplied at a later time.
How long do I leave them in for?
Ear Seeds and Acupuncture Microneedles can be left on for up to 5 days, even with showering, sleeping, swimming etc. They may fall off sooner, depending on where they’ve been placed. After 5 days of wear, the seeds and microneedles are removed to allow the skin to rejuvenate for 8-24 hours before replacement. Following this cycle, you can continue to wear them on an ongoing basis.
Are Ear Seeds and Acupuncture Microneedles re-usable?
All of our Microneedles and Ear Seeds, including the Swarovski Crystal ones, are disposable and should not be reused.
I just got my Ear Seeds and they keep falling off?
Occasionally Ear Seeds may feel “loose” when they are initially applied. Often, the adhesive bond will get stronger after time as your body heat helps to activate the adhesive.
Ear seeds may fall off sooner in children. They may also fall off sooner on curved ridges and in the inner concha area of the ear.
If your Ear Seeds fall off within the first 24 hours of being done, we will replace them for free the first time.
Are there side effects or contraindications?
If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor before using Ear Seeds or Microneedles.
If skin irritation occurs from the Ear Seeds or Microneedles, or if swelling should occur, remove the Ear Seeds immediately and contact your doctor if symptoms persist.
Sometimes, when a point is “active,” the Ear Seed will make the ear feel sore, tender and sensitive to touch. This is normal. If discomfort persists you can remove the seeds and reapply at a later time. This discomfort is different than a skin irritation.
On rare occasion, some extremely sensitive people may experience slight nausea or dizziness upon application. This should disappear within the first few minutes after application.
On extremely rare occasions, Ear Seeds can fall into the ear canal. If this occurs, please consult your doctor immediately to have it removed.
Ear Seeds can be used in conjunction with herbs and other ingestible medications without concern for contraindications.
